The Anglican parish of Ostend, Bruges, Kortrijk and Knokke-Heist is part of the Church of England, in the Diocese of Europe. In Ostend, we’ve been known as ‘The English Church’ for just over 150 years, and our church in Bruges is called St Peter’s. We are a multi-cultural community who worship in English under the spiritual leadership of the Reverend Augustine Nwaekwe. Our churches are open to all, and a very warm welcome awaits you.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: change of service time for Bruges. Now that the nights are drawing in, and the clocks have gone back, evening worship in Bruges will commence one hour earlier as of Sunday 3rd December. The services will henceforth begin at 5pm. This is a winter schedule and will hold until the last Sunday in March. In keeping with the lighter evenings, we will then revert to a 6pm start. Sunday School in Ostend: Young worshippers are encouraged to attend the Sunday School in Ostend, which begins at 10.30am. Led by Blessing Otobo. Children learn about the Bible and the Christian way of life and join their parents and the congregation for a blessing during the Eucharist.
